Reproduction of Found - Ventile® Trainers

This season, we are excited to introduce the British and Canadian trainer silhouettes from Reproduction of Found in an updated style featuring Ventile® cotton, a sustainable and reliable natural textile.

Ventile® was founded in Manchester during the mid 90’s as a means to save lives of pilots who fell into the sea during wartime. The fabric was developed by scientists to maintain temperature regulation, resist moisture, and maintain comfort which indeed helped save many lives during the period. From the mid 90’s onward, it has been adopted in all areas of functional clothing as an ideal alternative to synthetics and continues to be the go-to choice for gear and product enthusiasts around the world. Ventile® continues to grow as a part of Stotz & Co. a well respected Swiss fabric company known for their unmatched dedication to textile development.

With this background in mind, combining Ventile® fabric with Reproduction of Found’s military footwear is a no brainer. The British and Canadian trainers incorporate Ventile® seamlessly into their designs and offer an pleasing and refreshing balance of colours and textures. The shoes are already crafted to an exceptional standard and as such, are even further heightened in quality.

The British trainer comes in a muted olive palette and incorporates suede and rubber elements while the Canadian trainer is executed in a cool, dark tone that highlights black Italian leather. Both models also feature a custom branded tag at the tongue, a rare move for the otherwise brandless shoes that unassumingly produce some of the best products on the market.
