Reproduction of Found - Austrian and Italian Officer Shoes
Japanese footwear brand Reproduction of Found continues to reimagine historical military shoes, and this fall, we’ve selected a concise batch of mature styles. Deviating from their casual trainer and outdoor silhouettes, we present three distinct officer derbies, each with slightly different, but defining traits.
Two styles, 614L and 627L, reference Italian military shoes that were worn by commanding officers, specifically as general footwear that meet army uniform standard regulation. Both styles feature a smooth leather upper with brown pigskin lining, a signature trait of the brand, and two different toe shape respectively - cap toe and U-tip. For those looking to incorporate a refreshed, sophisticated feeling to their footwear rotation, these two styles are sure to do the trick. The third model, the 600L is designed with a classic derby toe shape and is perfect for those who desire an understated and timeless look. Reproduction of Found sources authentic vintage styles as a reference point, and recontextualizes them for modern times. Each pair is finished with a shock absorbent rubber sole, and hand crafted in their factories in Slovakia which have produced quality footwear for numerous decades.
