drypond Eyewear - Colwin and Gunton

Building atop drypond’s slowly growing troupe of contemporary styles, we’d like to present two new seasonal additions which are also favourites of ours, the Gunton and Colwin.
Most notably, both frames are designed and built using premium brushed titanium, a special material regarded for its surprisingly robust, yet lightweight tactility. Both styles have a similar backstory, rooted in 70’s UK aesthetics, and are modernized with considered design lines, the Gunton being more rounded and classic, while the Colwin proposes an ever so slightly edgier feel, due to its angular appearance.
Both frames are recommended options for the months ahead, as they are remarkably lighter than acetate frames, and feature further enhancements such as an ion plating and brushing for an uncompromisingly smooth handfeel, that’s also distinctly cool to the touch.
drypond has introduced natural genuine shell material for the nose pad construction on both Gunton and Colwin, offering the perfect blend of natural and synthetic materials. These nose pads are less susceptible to deterioration from sweat or facial cosmetics than other synthetic parts, and are also naturally smooth and comfortable. Lastly, each nose pad is unique in appearance, adding a special touch and story to each frame.
Coming in a handful of different combinations of metal finishes and lens tones, we’re excited to share these with you for the summer.
